Managing Partner
Paul went from graduate trainee to Board Account Director at Saatchi & Saatchi, before becoming a Partner at start up Banks Hoggins O’Shea. Responsible for Business Development, the agency grew to £70m in billings before being sold to FCB. In September 2003 Paul established isobel along with his partners. Paul is a member of the IPA, the Marketing Society and the IOD. -
Steve Hastings +
Planning Partner
Steve has held positions at Leagas Delaney, Masius, Lowes and was Head of Planning at Banks Hoggins O’Shea and FCB London. A regular speaker on the conference circuit - including events such as Admap, Warc, IPA and Ceis - Steve has also won two coveted IPA effectiveness awards, for Bluewater and Waitrose. -
Sue Laing +
Financial Director
A highly experienced Financial Director, Sue's career began at PriceWaterhouse and she has been FD and mentor to many companies in sectors as diverse as interior design and horticulture. Most recently, as Financial Director of Leapfrog Research and Planning Ltd, she orchestrated its successful sale to the Cello Group. She has been a board member of isobel since its inception in 2003.

David Alexander +
Creative Partner
David is one of the few people still in advertising to have started in the post room. David has worked for a variety of agencies including Bozells and Banks Hoggins O’Shea before becoming Joint Creative Director at FCB London. In 2003 he helped start isobel. As well as winning numerous awards, David has judged D&AD, and has been a council member and judge of Creative Circle. -
Rob Fletcher +
Creative Partner
At the tender age of 18, Rob began his career as an art director at McCann Erickson. Seven years at GGT, followed by Bozells and Banks Hoggins O’Shea, culminating in becoming Joint Creative Director at FCB BHO London. Then, in 2003, he became a co-founder of isobel. He has been a regular winner of national and international advertising awards and has judged many of them, including Creative Circle, D&AD and AOP.
